A 4-page painted mini comic. Aliens deal with loss just like us.
Done as part of a ‘zine produced with some great local illustrators.
Why I chose to paint it with my inexperience with both digital painting and sequential art, I will never know. This is also the first mini comic I ever completed, so excuse the crudity.
My attempt at using the lessons of the Comics Fundamentals workshop over at Lean Into Art. Black and white, 8 pages and a cover and not at all great. But it’s finally finished!
This is my first 8-page mini comic, and the one in which I learned the perils of trying to make pages done with pen and paper match up with things done digitally. With all the issues involved in making even a little thing like this, I surely don’t need to dig a deeper hole for myself!
